Why I'm Running?
I’m running because Laguna Beach residents speak, but too often they do not feel heard. Decisions should not depend on who you know, and our laws should never be interpreted selectively. Residents deserve rules that are clear, predictable, and applied fairly.
City Hall continues to hire more staff and purchase more tools, yet the underlying problems remain. Our General Plan, Zoning Code, and Local Coastal Program need to be updated and brought into alignment. Public records should be easy to locate. When important issues come before commissions, boards, and committees, residents should be able to find the information, participate, and review what happened without navigating a website that seems to bury the process.
More bureaucracy is not a substitute for fixing the fundamentals.
CORE PROMISE
I will listen. I will do the work. I will explain my decisions. Most importantly, I will remember whom City Hall is there to serve: the residents of Laguna Beach.
